Priest-In-Charge
Rev. Wayne Fletcher The Rev. Wayne is a native of New York City with deep Louisiana roots through his mother. Father Wayne has been an ordained priest for seven years. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and his Anglican Studies Diploma from General Theological Seminary. He also holds a Master of Professional Studies Degree in Telecommunications from New York University and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts from the New York Institute of Technology. Father Wayne is married to his lovely wife, Dawn. They have two adult children, Leah and Tai. They have a cat named Stella and a dog named Della. In their spare time they enjoy movies and supporting the arts. They especially enjoy live music of all types, particularly jazz. They are looking forward to going to plays and visiting museums in the area. St. James is thrilled to have them in Shreveport. |

Nursery Director
Rhonda Robertson Rhonda was born and raised at St. James and became the parish's second Nursery Director after the lady who had looked after her in the nursery retired. She was a kindergarten teacher for 34 years and has earned a Masters in Human Resources and Supervision from Louisiana Tech-Barksdale as well as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University-Shreveport. Rhonda loves all of St. James' youngest parishioners, from cuddling babies to interesting conversations with 3 and 4 year olds, the nursery is one of the best places to be! |
Organist
Steven Lyles Steven has been sharing his God given talent of playing the piano and organ for 44 years in weekly worship. His passion is playing sacred music for worship to enhance the worship experience for all. Steven has been a clinic manager in the Willis Knighton Health system for the last 23 years with a total of 33 years in healthcare. When Steven is not working or playing for worship, he enjoys cooking, traveling and shopping. |
