Sister Cecilia 
​
Sr. Cecilia is a native of Shreveport and has attended Church of the Holy Cross for over 20 years. She is an Anglican Benedictine with the Companions of Saint Luke religious community. Sr. Cecilia attended Centenary College, where she studied English and Theatre, and she has also studied Paralegal studies at Ashworth College. She has written and published short stories about church, life, and mystery. She comes to us with years of experience in administrative roles at private, public, and religious organizations. Sr. Cecilia serves as cantor and soloist at her parish and religious community.

Nursery Director
Rhonda Robertson

Rhonda was born and raised at St. James and became the parish's second Nursery Director after the lady who had looked after her in the nursery retired. She was a kindergarten teacher for 34 years and has earned a Masters in Human Resources and Supervision from Louisiana Tech-Barksdale as well as a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Louisiana State University-Shreveport.

Rhonda loves all of St. James' youngest parishioners, from cuddling babies to interesting conversations with 3 and 4 year olds, the nursery is one of the best places to be!
