What to Expect When You Visit
At St. James Episcopal Church, we offer a traditional worship experience that includes prayers, hymns, readings from the Bible, and a sermon. The service also includes the celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Communion), which is open to all baptized Christians. Before and after the service, there is a coffee hour and often other fellowship opportunities where you can meet members of the congregation and learn more about the church community. We strive to be an inclusive community and offer childcare services with dedicated volunteers. Come and join us for a spiritual journey where everyone is welcome!
Parking
We have parking available all behind and beside the church with handicap parking located near the entrance of our church building.
Greeters and Ushers
We know visiting a new church can be intimidating, that’s why we have a greeting team who would love to meet you and show you around! We don’t always recognize the first-time visitors because so many of the people who come are still fairly new, so feel free to say, “This is my first time” and we’ll guide you in! We’d also love to give you a gift as a first-time guest!
Dress
At our church, we value YOU for who you are, not what you're wearing. We want you to feel welcome and accepted just the way you are! We keep it simple with our dress code: wear whatever you're comfortable in.
